Classically trained soprano Heather Klein presents lost works of the Yiddish Art Song repertoire, with accompanist Joshua Horowitz. Klein, who is also a cantorial soloist, brings a richness and beauty to an overlooked segment of the Yiddish musical tradition, while also advancing that tradition with her own arrangements and interpretations of lesser known compositions. Horowitz, the founder of the ensemble Budowitz and a cofounder of Veretski Pass, is a renowned scholar of klezmer as well as a virtuoso multi-instrumentalist.
