Carnevale 2018 with The Badwills & Cheekyrrikis
Ladies and Gentlemen, by popular demand, The Badwills present Carnevale 2018! A wild night of Italian Pizzica, Spanish Flamenco, and masks... lots of masks! This year we join forces with Edinburgh Universitys Italian Society at the charming Pleasance Cabaret Bar to bring you once again a Live Music Masquerade to remember.
Its that time of the year when the world is upside-down. When Harlequin the Servant is master for the day. When the Fool is wise, the King is poor, and Music rules them all.
Opening the night, our friends the magical Cheekyrrikis Flamenko Power, bringing you some of the best flamenco on the Scottish scene. With countless performances at Alba Flamenca and raving reviews for their Fringe shows, Cheekyrrikis Flamenko Power will touch your souls and light up your feet with humour, complicity, and a bit of cheekyness.

And then, let the tarantula bite and be ready to dance till you drop. Hosting the night are Edinburghs very own The Badwills, bringing you their wild tambourine-fuelled Pizzica, Tarantella and Tammurriata straight from the South of Italy. Taking a wee break from their hugely successful Mediterraneo series to prepare no less than a soundtrack (!), the Badwills could not possibly miss the chance to throw their big annual Carnevale party.
