Little Mountain Playschool (1/2 half day) - Bioregional Beginnings Outdoor playschool
Our 1/2 day Playschool runs on 4 terms a year | Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter
Ages: 3 - 5 years old
Location: Drop-off & Pick-up @ Little Mountain Art School (544 Paradise Street)
Mentor to child ratio: 1-5 *Maximum 8 children per class
When: Mon | Wed | Fri | 9:00am - 12:00pm
Spring Term: March through May
Summer Term: June through August
Fall Term: September through November
Winter Term: October through December
Price: $1200/Term
Little Mountain Outdoor Playschool offers children the freedom to explore the first stage of Bioregional education: playing and learning in the natural environment. Over 3 hours and accompanied by a mentor employing the Coyote Way, we explore the shore, forest and pathways through:
- listening for bird language
- the art of questioning
- storytelling
- deep listening
- survival skills
- tending wild plants
- mapping
- opening the senses
- songs
- honoring gifts in ourselves and others
