River's Edge Theatre at Riverside Secondary School presents "RENT" featuring 51 young performers in the original rock musical that changed musical theatre culture in North America. A re-imagining of Puccini's La Bohème, "RENT" follows an unforgettable year in the lives of several New York City artists struggling to follow their dreams without selling out. With an inspiring message of joy and hope in the face of fear, poverty, addiction and disease, this timeless celebration of friendship and resilience reminds us to measure our lives with the only thing that truly matters: love.
