A Presentation and Lecture on Railroad Depots: A Southern Pacific Collection
Saturday September 22, 2018 6:00 pm Lecture & presentation by Historian Jean-Guy Dube Author of Railroad Depots: A Southern Pacific Collection Awarded the national Leicester B. Holland Prize for 2017 by the National Park Service and Library of Congress, professional draftsman and apprenticing architect Mr. Dube has researched and written about Southern Pacific Depots since 1983. His book features 48 black & white blueprint drawings by Dube, content includes many styles and subject matter. On view will be architectural drawings including The Palms Depot and the Longfellow Hastings Octagon House at Heritage Square Museum, also on display will be railroad artifacts spanning many decades. Tickets are $12 for General Public and $10 for Members.
