CANCELLED - Só Sol w/Glenn Thomas Kendzia

Boston-based folk group Só Sol play with a vintage sound that has roots in both Tropicalia and Americana. Formed eight years ago by the husband and wife duo of Jessica DaSilva (vocals, percussion, banjo) and John Garrett (vocal, guitar), the group performs original songs, transitioning effortlessly between lyrics in English and Brazilian Portuguese. Currently completed by Zach Bridges on the acoustic bass and J. Bruce Scott on the lap steel, Só Sol lull audiences with their tipsy vocals and echoes of psychedelia.

Rhode Island singer-songwriter and wordsmith Glenn Thomas Kendzia of alternative band Wild Sun opens the show. Glenn performs with an honesty and passion that speaks to audiences and artists alike. His deeply personal lyrics and musicianship as a guitarist have allowed Kendzia to share stages with such artists as Eve6, The Wombats, Blitzen Trapper, The Barr Brothers, Rubblebucket, Watsky, And the Kids and others.

This show is part of the Warren Sessions presented by Common Fence Music at Hope & Main in Warren, RI. Doors open at 7:30pm, show starts at 8pm. This show is BYOB; other refreshments will be available for purchase.
