Workshop: Characters Baby! By Wood Fu
Characters, baby! Spending a lot of time onstage playing yourself? Feeling stiff and uninspired? This workshop is designed to give you tools for fast, energetic play. We will explore the power of making big character choices right away through genre, high fidelity matching, and point of view. A surefire way to inject more fun into your scenes!
Woody Fu is an actor, sketch comedian, writer and improviser living in Brooklyn. He has performed on the Boom Chicago stage in Amsterdam. His one man show Asian Gracefully has gone up at the UCB, PIT, Magnet, and Annoyance Theaters in New York, and toured in Phoenix, Austin and Philadelphia.
He draws comics, made an online choose-your-own-adventure dating game called Escape From Fk Zone, and is a professional DJ.
