Workshop: From Action to Awesome by John & Andy!

It's time for making active choices and take physical action to jump-start scenes and move beyond conflict while on stage! Join us for this fun and dynamic workshop!

John Windmueller loves improv. Loves it! John has over a decade of experience teaching and performing, and he has led sold-out workshops at improv festivals and camps across the US. John is a senior instructor at both Washington Improv Theater (WIT) and the Baltimore Improv Group (BIG). Voted DC's biggest improv nerd, he has a knack for finding new ways to help students consistently create scenes they love.

John currently performs with mainstage ensembles King Bee (WIT) and Lekker (BIG), along with numerous side projects (Hot Pursuit, Flannel Club, Local Spot, Remote Possibilites, and Unscripted). John regularly performs in festivals across the US, and is one of the founders and organizers of the District Improv Festival. He serves as the full-time Director of WIT@Work, the corporate training branch of Washington Improv Theater, where he leads corporate workshops for organizations ranging from NPR to the NSA.

Andy McIntyre has been performing improv since 2012 and performing with the Baltimore Improv Group since 2014. He currently performs with BIG main stage troupe Bears Only, BIG Project troupes Hot Pursuit, Local Spot, and the independent team Remote Possibilities. He has performed at improv festivals in Tampa, Washington, New York, and Chicago. Andy is a product of the BIG University program and has also studied with Jill Bernard, Jimmy Carrane, Rick Andrews, Susan Messing and many others. When not performing with the Baltimore Improv Group he is performing as a teacher for the Howard County Public School System. He also coaches football, wrestling, and lacrosse.
