Creating The Reasonable Proposal
I am Tai Williams, founder of Civics For The Emerging Activist, a civics education organization. For seven years I have taught this workshop. I am sharing what I have learned about how to make your community based,grass root efforts, successful, effective and memorable.We often forget to do the basic, simple research and define boundaries when we are collaborating with others or asking the community to collaborate with us.We are excited about our great idea and dive in without necessary planning. This workshop outlines what we need to do to identify funding, initiate collaborations respectfully and define roles and goals. This combination of effort will bring many successful initiatives. Bring your ideas and we will help you begin your reasonable proposal! If you would like to share your event, join us and feel free to chat it up during the lunch break!
