Shakespeare's Twelfth Night
Twelfth Night is Shakespeare's lovely and funny comedy. One of Shakespeare's most popular plays, Twelfth Night is the tale of the heartsick Duke Orsino who is rebuffed by the beautiful, mourning Countess Olivia until the shipwrecked Lady Olivia arrives on Illyria's shores, disguises herself as a page boy and joins the Duke's Court. When he sends him (her) to woo Olivia for him, Olivia falls in love with the girl disguised as a boy, and hilarity ensues. All this happens while Olivia's drunkard uncle - Sir Toby Belch - and the house staff, plot to depose of the kill-joy steward Malvolio that crushes all the joy of living.
