Legislate This San Antonio!2018
Legislate This Burlesque Productions is grabbing back in 2018 with an epic array of ecdysiast entertainment for a necessary cause!
Ginger Snaps Burlesque ( Austin TX), Tifa Tittlywinks ( Houston TX), Vivienne Vermouth (Dallas, TX), former Austinite Scarlet Conte ( Fremont, CA) and Black Orchid ( San Antonio, TX) have joined forces to create an epic array of burlesque shows benefitting each city's local Planned Parenthood chapter. Occasionally creativity wins out above immaturity, and thats how great events are born! Over the past five years Legislate This! has raised thousands of dollars for Planned Parenthood chapters across the country and we're excited to continue this momentum!
The tour de force begins with a double-shot of tease on Friday, January 26th at the Mohawk in Austin and Numbers Nightclub in Houston, with San Antonio bringing up the rear on February 3rd at Jump-Start Theater, with more productions to be announced later this year.
Legislate This San Antonio! features some of the best and brightest burlesque performers from the Alamo City and beyond, taking it off for a great cause. Jump-Start Theater provides the perfect intimate setting for this limited-seating show. Local performers include producer Black Orchid, Giomara Balzalduar, Queen Anthuros, Lita Dee, Maxxy Radd and Jasper St. James, with more special guests to be announced soon.
Legislate This! began in Austin, TX as a reaction to the perils of having Rick Perry as our governor. Tired of feeling marginalized and looked down upon for having a vagina, Ginger Snaps decided to fight back the best way she knew how, by hosting a benefit fundraiser for Planned Parenthood.
She decided that since she couldnt just follow Rick Perry around flipping him off, this was the next best thing!
This is the fifth Legislate This San Antonio! show and now more than ever we want to raise money for this valuable organization, and celebrate our beautiful bodies out loud!
