The Cupid Shuffle
Let's face it, by now you know it takes meeting a number of people before you find someone you click with. But the problem is, how do you meet them in the first place? Sure there are ways--bars, blind dates, dating services, online, etc. But they all have their disadvantages and they take time...lots of it. What fun is it to wait around for someone to talk to you in a bar or when you're out and about? What fun is it to risk rejection over and over again striking up conversations with people you don't even know are single? What if the conversation goes well, what about the awkwardness afterwards with asking for phone numbers? Think of it as a series of "facilitated introductions" just like when you go to a party with a good host.
Time/Ages:
2-5pm for 26-45 year olds
6-9pm for 21-32 year olds
How does it work?
You will go on about 10 dates with someone of the opposite sex, each date will be 5 minutes long/short. Your host will assist in setting you up with your scorecard for the evening. A simple and convenient way to keep track of whom you enjoyed meeting and those that you would like to see again. Should you have any questions - feel free to ask away. Take the time before the event starts to settle in - have a beverage if you would like and mingle should you wish. The speed dating portion of the event begins once all daters have arrived, checked in and had a moment or two to relax and unwind.We will provide you with materials to tell us who you liked. If the same person(s) you pick also pick you, you will be a "Match" and we will give you each others' contact information - then the rest is up to you! There's no pressure, no rejection, no embarrassment and no games, just fun! Try it and you'll see for yourself. Call each other up and make plans to go out!
Dress code?
We don't have a strict dress code, but we recommend you dress to make a good first impression. We recommend you dress comfortably. Business Casual.
For all participating you will be entered into a raffle for a free valentines day meal. One(1) male and one(1) female will be selected at random from each seating for a date together.
