8th Annual Dancing with the Local Stars features local celebs

Charity Gala raises $70,000 for Care Free Medical & Dental

May 18th , 2018, Lansing, MI Local celebrities are putting on their dancing shoes to benefit Care Free Medical & Dental during its 7th Annual Dancing with the Local Stars on Friday, May 18, 2017, 6:00 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza in Lansing.

The celebrities rehearse for 8-12 weeks prior to the gala fundraiser with a local professional dance instructor who serves as their partner. The evening will include a live auction and strolling dinner.

For more than 10 years Care Free has been providing access to affordable, primary medical, dental, optometry, and behavioral health care for individuals below 250% of poverty who would otherwise be without access to care. The nonprofit is led by Medical Director and CEO Dr. Farhan Bhatti.
