    For its fourth year of Habitat Hero, the Cheyenne-High Plains Audubon Society is teaming with the Wyoming Bee College conference. Those registered for the Bee College do not have to register for the Habitat Hero segment, it is part of your Bee College registration.
    Those registering for the Habitat Hero conference only, are invited to attend four of the Bee College events listed in the schedule below marked with (*). All Bee College events are held in the LCCC Recreation and Athletic Center.

7:30 to 9:30 Doors open for Habitat Hero. Pick up your name tag and schedule at the Health Science Building, Room 106.You will need the name tag to get into the Bee College events.

(*)8:10 a.m., Welcome from American Honey Queen.
(*)8:20 to 9:15 a.m., Bee Girl Organization Sarah Red-Laird with the latest on education programs, research project and university collaboration on the advancement of saving bees.

9:30 Habitat Hero Introduction (Health Science Building, Room 106)
9:45 Jane Dorn - Native Plants for Native Pollinators - emphasizing native plantings attractive to native bees.
            10:30 Break  
10:45 Barb Gorges - Birds & plants in your yard and the Habitat Hero application process.
11:45 Dena Egenhoff  Cheyenne Board of Public Utilities' Habitat Hero project and water conservation.

     12:30 Lunch (LCCC cafeteria included in registration fee) at College Community Center, across from the Pathfinder Building.
 
1:45 Jessica Goldstrohm (The Bees Waggle, Highlands Ranch, CO) - Jessica promotes native bee conservation and sells materials to encourage their reproduction and survival.
            2:45 Break
3:00 Wanda Manley  Home on the Range - Discussion of how to maintain native habitats on small acreage.
4:00 Closeout/Evaluations

(*)4:30 to 5:30 Vendor reception at the Bee College.
(*)6:45 p.m., Saturday night will be a mid-century fun look at Hollywood and Entomology: History of the 1950s BIG BUG Science Fiction Movies with Dr. Raymond Cloyd. (Dinner not included)
