The Business of Singing Part 1
MetroWest Opera is so pleased to present the first installment of "The Business of Singing", which will be a multi-part program teaching about all aspects of having a singing career and will give you the tools to be a whole artist. This introductory session will cover the basics in terms of developing yourself as a skilled and competent singer as well as an individual business owners including but not limited to: how to manage finances, booking work, negotiating compensation, building your resume, picking repertoire, and thinking intelligently about how to forge a pathway in this very precarious career.
The culmination of this program will be to give singers the opportunity to sing in-front of singer agents from New York City. This first installment is FREE.
