Young Artists Recital Presented by GPAS & RAPA
The Young Artists Recital features students from GPAS and RAPAs Young Artists Competition. The Competition began in 1973 and was held for 40 years until 2013, most recently under the direction of the late Mike Szatkowski. Under the direction of President Eric Vaughn Johnson, the competition had a rebirth as part of GPASs Next Chapter and was held in December 2017. Contestants ranged from age 7 up to 18 from schools across the Greater Rochester Area.
First Place Winners from the competition will perform at this recital alongside guest soloists and entertainment groups.
