Managing the Really Small Non-Profit Organization with Bob Riter. Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm in the Borg Warner Room of the Tompkins County Public Library, E. Green St. at S. Cayuga St., Ithaca. Fee $70 and includes light refreshments.
The workshop focuses on the needs of the smallest non-profit organizations those with fewer than 10 employees.
In addition to leading the organization, youre the human resource chief, the computer expert, the grant writer, and the plumber. How do you manage your time and leverage community resources to move the organization forward?
In this workshop, attendees will learn how to maximize time and resources to be most successful in board and community relations, volunteer involvement, operational priorities, and fundraising. Special focus will be given on understanding where your organization is in its life cycle and creating systems and structures to best support it.
Participants will learn from the experiences of each other as well as from the presenter.
BIO Bob Riter recently retired as the Executive Director of the Cancer Resource Center of the Finger Lakes. He previously taught health care administration at Ithaca College. Bob has a masters degree in hospital administration from the University of Michigan and has managed both large and small organizations.
