Chris Cain - Scooby Valdez

International renown Blues Guitarist extraordinaire Chris Cain will be bringing his style of jazz tinged, blues soaked guitar and deep warmed vocals to renovated ballroom of the Appleton Grill. His expressive style is the result of a lifetime of study and the relentless pursuit of music mastery.

Cain writes his own songs and he has nearly a dozen albums to his name, but it is the blues he carries inside him, a repertoire of songs by the greats, the legends - BB King and Albert King for example that set him above others. Since his last visit to Watsonville, Chris has toured all over country and the world including stops in New Zealand Argentina, Italy and Australia.

Opening the evening will be local guitarist Steven Scooby Valdez of the Ville Band fame. Scooby has played extensively with many groups in the area and has developed a large local following. He has given of his time and talents to perform at several community benefit events through the Monterey Bay. Scoobys flowing guitar playing and sweet sounds of soul, blues and r and b lights up a crowd and fills up the dance floor.
