North Idaho Enological Society December 2017 Holiday Wine Tasting & Christmas Party
Please join us for the North Idaho Enological Society December 2017 Holiday Wine Tasting & Christmas Party Saturday, December 16 at Lake City Center.
The program includes sparkling and festive wines suitable for any holiday party and get together. Bistro on Spruce is catering the event. Santa is back to assist with the wine gift exchange. Club member Pamela Benton and Ken Curtiss will play jazzy holiday music throughout the evening.
The tasting committee teamed up with Kevin Olsonberg, Southern Glazer Wines and Odom Distributing, and Chris Mueller, Bistro on Spruce, to select the wines for our holiday program. We will start off the evening with three delicious sparkling wines. The first wine is an Italian Prosecco, followed by a French Champagne and a California sparkler. Our next two wines are from Sonoma County. We will enjoy a Russian River Pinot Noir and a Zinfandel. Our final red is a Cabernet Sauvignon from a very prestigious Washington state winery. We will end the evening with a very special and unique wine from Italy. Kevin will walk us through each of the wines. Chris and his chef have selected foods that pair beautifully with each of the wines.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will help with the optional wine gift exchange again this year. If you chose to participate, please bring one bottle of wine. The value of the wine must be at least
$15 not including gift wrapping. Please be sure to bring your wine gift wrapped.
All tickets must be purchased by Saturday, December 9 at midnight and we regret that we are not able to allow cancellations or refunds for this special event. We look forward to helping you celebrate this fabulous evening!
