Miss Ollie's - Restaurant Week Dinner - 1/18
In preparation for Oakland Restaurant Week, and our soon-to-be-arriving dinner service, Miss Ollie's will be hosting a series of intimate closed-door dinners. Please join us for our first dinner, celebrating the cuisine of the francophone Caribbean (Haiti, Martinique, Guadeloupe, Guyane)!
Our menu for Friday the 18th of January will be:
Macadam A salad of salted cod, wild parsley, lime juice, oil-cured pimento, roasted garlic, and scotch bonnet pepper; served with plantains
Porc Boucané Slow-cooked "bucccaneer pork" shoulder with sauce chien & pickliz (a vegan option will also be available)
Sides Pigeon pea creole consommé Purée of giraumon (sweet pumpkin) Greens
Afters Kilibibi (sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg popped corn) Lotchio (coconut cooked in sugar cane syrup)
Tickets are on sale for $40, and include complimentary wine and champagne on offer. Should you want to bring your own, Miss Ollie's will not be charging a corkage fee.
