Topic: Robotics Process Automation: Unlock the Flexibility, Scalability & Efficiency of Your Robotic Workforce (1 CPE)
The recent industry economic downturn forced E&P companies to focus on increasing efficiency as a means of survival. As the market reaches an equilibrium and economics improve, how do organizations maintain these efficiencies while scaling to meet market demand? Chesapeake Energy, in partnership with Ernst & Young, is working towards the solution using Robotics Process Automation (RPA) a digital workforce that can reliably execute processes across enterprise applications with unmatched efficiency and scalability. Estimates on initial projects have monthly savings ranging between 20 and 50 hours per process. At Chesapeake, the development and deployment of this digital workforce required overcoming new challenges including messaging, IT infrastructure, and security. The flexibility of RPA will allow Chesapeake to automate processes across applications including excel, outlook, and SAP to unlock greater productivity throughout the organization. Providing a CHK story board, complete with visual demos that articulate the RPA concept, will prove invaluable to industry experts trying to decide how RPA can benefit their organization.
