soulsing: resistance revival chorus
July 21, 2017 was the 6th month anniversary of the largest mass mobilization in the history of the world, the WOMEN's MARCH. To honor this day The Resistance Revival Chorus took over Times Square to sing songs of protest. With thousands of tourists looking on, unsure what was happening, the Chorus sought to inspire people to action as well as bring joy & inspiration!. The goal is to recreate the Chorus all across the country. in RI, we will call ourselves "soulsing: resistance revival chorus"
We seek to provide space for a revival of our spirits, of our commitment to a common movement, of our joy and of our power. The soulsing: resistance revival chorus is to be a group of people who bring song to life in the spirit of collective joy and resistance. Your voice is welcome, needed and encouraged.
