Vancouver Peace Choir Fall 2017 Choral Concert: A Symbol of Promise
Join us for a multicultural three choir concert featuring special guest musicians Akhil Jobanputra, Amir Haghighi, Kirsten Wood, Javier Canseco & Diana Teran, David Yates, Jenny Vincent, Delyar Rahmdel and Catherine Tseng. The Vancouver Peace Choir, directed by founder Timothy Corlis, will perform along with guest choirs, the Richmond Youth Honour Choir and Magee Secondary School Choir.
This concert offers a window into the lives of 12 performers, each with unique experiences. Their stories provide context and meaning for each of the songs as part of a journey of sound. As an audience member, the experience will be contemplative and inspiring with ambient sound throughout the second half of the concert, allowing for a deeply peaceful and soulful experience.
