Press Play Is Back At The Saloon!
Press Play, one of DC's longest-running improv troupes, is excited to present our new one-hour show at The Saloon Bar (U and 12th St NW).
A portion of each ticket will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association, National Capital Area Chapter, which provides support to more than 66,000 people with Alzheimer's and their families and care partners in the District of Columbia, Suburban and Southern Maryland and Northern Virginia.
We'll have improv, story telling, and a little bit of sadness because guest of honor and local Australian Harry Kacak is leaving DC. There will be a party after the show to send Harry off in style.
And for those who want to imbibe, big frothy mugs of beer are available for purchase at the bar. The estimated value of all this entertainment is one gazillion dollars, but you can buy a ticket for just $10 ($15 at the door). Every ticket sold will help support a great organization. So feel good, laugh, grab some drinks at the bar, and support the wonderful work the Alzheimer's Association does all at the same time.
Doors open at 7:30pm, show starts at 8pm. Harry's goodbye party will be after the show, roughly at 9:30pm.
See you there!
