Ancestral Magic and Day of the Dead Celebration

All tribal and shamanic traditions had ceremonies and rituals of honoring the ancestors, feeding them, seeking their advice or appeasing them. It is believed that the dead dont die, but rather ascend to another level of being, from which they can look on and assist us. From this higher level, the Ancestors can guide us in our daily lives, intercede on our behalf and protect us in times of need. Your ancestors are not only those members of your family that you knew and who have passed on, but it can be anybody from your family line going back countless of generations!
In this class, you will learn:
Ways to contact and connect with your ancestors to create a spiritual connection with the other side.
How to develop a relationship with your ancestors allowing you greater access to information in the form of their wisdom and experience.
How to create sacred space and set up an ancestral shrine to honor your ancestors.
Healing the ancestors and healing your lineage.
We will do some shamanic journeywork to review the state of your lineage and make contact with an ancestral representative or guide for the purpose of healing, guidance and empowerment. This evening will end with a celebratory cacao ceremony and potluck - bring a vegetarian or vegan dish in the spirit of your own lineage and ancestry to share with the community!
