***********
Joe DUrso: one of the founding members of the Light of Day organization, Joe fronts his own band Joe DUrso & the Stone Caravan, an Americana/Jersey Shore/Rock & Roll band, they released their 13th CD on SCR/Schoolhouse Records, titled "Sway" in January 2013.
Jeffrey Gaines: Gaines was one of the artists invited to contribute vocals to the benefit CD We are Family, produced by Nile Rodgers after the September 11, 2001 attacks. He has toured with artists including Paula Cole, Tori Amos, Tracy Chapman, Melissa Etheridge, Sting, Shawn Colvin, Edwin McCain, The Bacon Brothers, Joe Jackson and Stevie Nicks.
Rob Dye: Music has always been a part of New Jersey native Rob Dyes life. He logs over 150 shows a year, whether its as a duo or with a band playing covers along the Jersey Shore to touring the country and overseas. With feet firmly planted in the rich landscape of American musics roots, Dyes music incorporates elements of rock, old school country, Stax-influenced R&B, gospel and more while remaining true to the essence of each style.
James Maddock: The best singer-songwriters serve the song. The songwriters songwriter, James Maddock, who has earned the respect of masterful writers and has built his acclaimed legacy on humbly honoring purity of expression. He's performed with Bruce Springsteen, Willie Nile, Aaron Comess (Spin Doctors) and David Immergluck (Counting Crows), sang on an album with Susan McKeown, and has built a respected international profile through tireless touring from the Northeast US to Europe to Australia.
Ben Arnold: Ben Arnold has toured throughout the United States and Europe with various line-ups both solo and with his rollicking live band. He has shared a stage with everyone from Ryan Adams, David Gray, Ben Folds and Lucinda Williams to Ron Sexsmith, Randy Newman, Martin Sexton, David Johanson, Jackson Browne, Amos Lee and even a strangely mysterious week in Holland with Townes Van Zandt in the last year of his life. His lyrics remind you of John Hiatt and he's been told he sings a bit like Randy Newman, but writes hooks like Springsteen used to do in the '80s. His songs explore strong emotions while his music draws on rock, folk, R&B and all genres in between. Ben is also a member of US Rails, which tours regularly in Europe and has released 5 of their own records to date
Vini "Mad Dog" Lopez: Between 1968 and 1974 Lopez backed Bruce Springsteen in several bands, including Steel Mill and the E Street Band. He also played on Springsteen's first two albums, Greetings from Asbury Park, N.J. and The Wild, the Innocent and the E Street Shuffle. After leaving the E Street Band, Lopez went on to play drums with numerous Jersey Shore bands, including The Lord Gunner Group. In April 2014, Lopez was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the E Street Band.
