Sansei: The Storyteller
If the Japanese Internment didnt happen, I wouldnt be alive today. Sansei: The Storyteller grew from this one true statement. Using dance, theatre, and humour Mark Kunji Ikeda takes a light-hearted look into the story of one of Canadas darkest decisions, and unwraps how racism of past generations has affected the Japanese community today.
This award-winning dance / theatre / spoken word poetry performace returns to Calgary for five performances only before heading on tour across BC.
