The Crucible by Arthur Miller: A Staged Reading
A UNIQUE THEATER EVENT
Join us in the Upper Dairy Barn at Muscoot Farm this October for a unique staged reading of The Crucible. Arthur Miller's 1953 Tony Award winner for Best Play dramatizes the events and people of the Salem Witch Trials beginning in 1692.
The Barn is not heated, so please dress warmly and bring a blanket if you like! They didn't have heat in 1692 either!
Part of Muscoot Farm's mission is to interpret the cultural history of an early 1900s Westchester farm and share it with the public. We hope to do that by inviting you to an interesting and dramatic night of theater, flanked by an exhibit on American agricultural rituals and beliefs related to witchcraft.
Our venue, the Upper Dairy Barn is also storage for straw bales. Please take this into consideration.
