Silent Cinema Brunch
Join us for a showing of F.W. Murnau's 1922 film "NOSFERATU". In this highly influential silent horror film, the mysterious Count Orlok summons Thomas Hutter to his remote Transylvanian castle in the mountains. The eerie Orlok seeks to buy a house near Hutter and his wife, Ellen. After Orlok reveals his vampire nature, Hutter struggles to escape the castle, knowing that Ellen is in grave danger. Meanwhile Orlok's servant, Knock, prepares for his master to arrive at his new home
The film will be accompanied by a live band led by musician Kevin Stueven, as well as Terry Vermillion & Hillary Vermillion. There is also audience participation in creating sound effects for the film!
While enjoying the film DB Searles will be serving a brunch buffet with menu items such as eggs, sausage, fruit, breakfast potatoes, etc. The bar will be open for Bloody Mary's, Mimosas, coffee and the like. This is a unique way to enjoy Sunday brunch and an excellent film!
Doors will open at 11:30pm and the film will begin at 12:00pm. The film run time is approximately 90 minutes.
Tickets are $25 per person (includes admission and brunch buffet)
