Deck the Walls: Painting the Christmas Story

The light and church-like Sainsbury Wing in the National Gallery holds some of the finest Renaissance altarpieces in the world. To get ourselves into the Christmas spirit, well be looking at this wonderful collection of Annunciations, Nativities and Adorations by the likes of Filippo Lippi, Piero della Francesca, Carlo Crivelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Botticelli, Bartolomé Bermejo and Jan Gossaert. Wherever we look, mythical angels will be flapping their magnificent wings at us! These affectionate, gentle and intimate paintings really bring the Christmas story to life and well go home with that warm, fuzzy Christmas feeling.

*If you have bought more than one Art Shot ticket you can either split them up and come on a number of different Art Shots, or you can give tickets to friends to join the same Art Shot as you. Please email office@arthistoryuk.com to tell us how you'd like to use your Art Shot tickets.

*Cancellation Policy
If you cancel within a week of the event, half the cost of the tour will be refunded. If you cancel within 24 hours of the tour, we regret that we will not be able to refund any of the cost. Please note that we can only run this tour if we have an attendance of 5 people. If we have to cancel the tour we will give one week's notice.
