Gunpowder, Treason and Plot: A Guy Fawkes Walk
Remember, remember the fifth of November! On this walking tour well be focusing on gunpowder, treason and plots. Well learn about conspiracies and riots that have been revolting their way through Westminster since the days of William Conqueror. Our route will take us from Westminster Abbey to Trafalgar Square, via the Houses of Parliament, Whitehall and the Banqueting House. Well discuss Walter Raleigh, Guy Fawkes, Oliver Cromwell and many others who plotted to kill the king. Well look at the architecture and histories of these epic buildings and discuss how riots in Westminster irrevocably changed the course of British history. The streets are the place to be in London on fireworks night well end the tour in good time to ensure you can find the best viewing platform!
*If you have bought more than one Art Shot ticket you can either split them up and come on a number of different Art Shots, or you can give tickets to friends to join the same Art Shot as you. Please email office@arthistoryuk.com to tell us how you'd like to use your Art Shot tickets.
*Cancellation Policy
If you cancel within a week of the event, half the cost of the tour will be refunded. If you cancel within 24 hours of the tour, we regret that we will not be able to refund any of the cost. Please note that we can only run this tour if we have an attendance of 5 people. If we have to cancel the tour we will give one week's notice.
