Deep Relaxation
Let tiredness and stress melt away at this extended session of deep relaxation.
Suitable for everyone needing rest:
from desk + coffee junkies, Pilates and gym peeps, to those who haven't exercised in a while, not forgetting tired, stressed parents (sleepy yawn).
We will ease stiff joints and tension with simple movement drawn from Chi Gung, Yoga and Feldenkrais, and luxuriate in techniques that enable you to completely relax; breathwork, meditation and the ultimate yoga power nap, yoga nidra. Yoga nidra is a meditative relaxation technique that deepens your state of relaxation to that of sleep yet you are awake. It is said 15 minutes of yoga nidra is the equivalent of 1 hour of sleep.
