Leda
LEDA is a hilarious comedy starring Allison Rose Macknick and a large cast directed by Pat Henderson. Come to The Cornservatory in Lincoln Square for a night of wit and wisdom. The story takes place in ancient Greece: Leda is captured in the war between Athens and Sparta and sold into slavery. A soldier seduces her by telling her is really Zeus in disguise, and goes off leaving her pregnant. Her Master doesn't want another mouth to feed. But: the baby's father is Zeus! Soon the Mayor and High Priest find out, and everyone tries to control Leda's fate. In the end, Leda must rely on herself to outwit all of Athens. 100% of the ticket sales for this show are being donated to Mercy Corps, a charity that helps people in direst need, so have fun and feel good!
