WADMHP Fall Conference 2017 - Focus on RCW 71.34
The Washington Association of Designated Mental Health Professionals will be hosting their Annual Fall Conference in Sun Mountain, Winthrop, WA. This conference will focus upon discussing the nuances of childhood assessment and inpatient treatment, including special population considerations.
Deidre Berens, PMHNP-BC is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She is Midwestern-born, but has now lived in the Pacific Northwest for the last ten years. She earned her degree from Oregon Health and Science University where she studied Family Psychiatric Mental Health. At this time she currently resides in Seattle, WA where she serves as an instructor for the Family Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nursing program at Seattle University's College of Nursing.
Living in Seattle has also given her the opportunity to concurrently contribute as a staff member at the Navos Behavioral Health NeighborCare Consortium. In her current position at this clinic she provides medication management services, psychotherapy, and psych assessments for children and adults.
9.5 hours of CEU/CME is offered for Thursday and Friday attendance: 6 hours on Thursday and 3.5 hours on Friday.
