Jon Bryant live in Cow Bay, NS
Jon Bryant has developed a strong and devoted fan base solely through touring internationally and leaving a lasting impression with his unique musical style of haunting, ambient-dream folk and singer/songwriter roots. Hands down, the best show Ive ever been to was last winter in the sold-out basement of the Folk Exchange seeing Bryant - Teghan Beaudette - CBC
His debut album Two Coasts for Comfort was iTunes Singer/Songwriter Album of the Year and the iTunes/Starbucks single of the week. It also garnered a 2011 East Coast Music Award nomination for Folk Album of the Year.
The new album "Twenty Something" features production from Grammy-nominated Alex Newport (Bloc Party, Death Cab for Cutie and City and Colour) Rick Parker (Lord Huron, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club) and Nygel Asselin (Half Moon Run) and Jordan Wiberg. It has been hailed by the Canadian press as the "next big thing". Most recently Jon was selected by KD Lang to perform an opening set on her Ingenue Redux tour stop in Vancouver.
The single Light was released In February and has already amassed over 5 million streams worldwide on Spotify alone. Light was accompanied alongside a short film directed by Photographer Caitlin Cronenberg (daughter of acclaimed director David Cronenberg) and stars model Victoria Keon-Cohen. Caitlin has an established career in photography shooting for the likes of Vogue, Drake, ELLE and 25 Magazine amongst others.
