The original Queer Queen of Qomedy, Poppy Champlin is producing this four-city tour that goes from San Antonio to Austin to Houston to Dallas. From Showtimes Pride: The Gay and Lesbian Comedy Slam, Champlin is the sparkling and energetic creator and host of The Queer Queens of Qomedy. She has appeared on Comedy Central, Oprah, and won the title of Americas Funniest Real Woman on The Joan Rivers Show. She is a regular performer in P-town and on Olivia and Atlantis cruises. The next reigning queen is Laredo Native Sandra Valls. Sandra was voted by Latina Magazine and Curve Magazine one of the top 10 funniest and bad ass comics to watch out for. Valls is on two Showtime specials as well as having appearances on Comics Unleashed and BETs Comic View. The third Queen to grace the stage is Crist Guzman a Dallas Native. After working at Power 108 in Waco she developed and operated her own radio show called This and That. She performs at Hyenas and Hat Tricks in Dallas and is becoming a regular with the Queer Queens. Her brand of comedy includes hilarious tales of her gay marriage & not so gay family that everyone can relate to. Some proceeds from the show will be going Houston Hurricane relief as well as to the Austin LGBTQ center. Come and enjoy these three Queens of comedy who guarantee to please yall.
Tickets are $25 for General admission and $35 for VIP, which includes preferred seating, a meet and greet with the comedians before the show with cheese and wine.
