Gidion's Knot by Johnna Adams
Women's Theatre Workshop is proud to present Gidion's Knot by Johnna Adams
Over the course of a parent-teacher conference, a grieving mother and an emotionally overwhelmed 5th grade teacher have a fraught meeting about the tragic suicide of the mother's son, Gidion. As his story is slowly uncovered, the women try to reconstruct a satisfying explanation for Gidion's act.
The play takes place over 90 minutes (with no intermission) and is presented environmentally in a classroom at Sycamore School* in Claremont. Signs directing guests to the classroom with be displayed leading from the school entrance on 8th Street. An optional talkback will follow each performance.
The play features Stephanie Grimley as Heather and Jill Cary Martin as Corryn.
General admission tickets are $15. Profits from the production will support the Sycamore School PFA. The production contains content not suited for children.
