Dancing with the Dignitaries

Did you know that suicide is the tenth leading cause of death in the United States? One person dies by suicide in Massachusetts every 14 hours. The Plymouth County Suicide Prevention Coalition is in our 4rd year serving our community, schools, local organizations and businesses within Plymouth County and some of Norfolk County as well.

Our goal is to educate, raise awareness and provide training for suicide prevention, intervention, postvention and Mental Health Awareness throughout all of our communities.

Along with Fred Astaire Studios of Plymouth, we are hosting a fundraiser which will provide funding for these programs at little or no cost to our schools, local organizations and businesses. Dancing with the Dignitaries / Celebrities is sure to be a night of great entertainment and fancy foot work not to be missed!

ASIST- Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training
Mental Health First Aid
SafeTalk

Our dancing competition is scheduled for Saturday, September 16th at Emerald Hall in Abington, Mass. 6-10pm.
There will be a cocktail hour with appetizers, raffles, Cash bar, 50/50 and chances to vote for your favorite dancer(s)!
