Middle Eastern Jazz Project
The Middle Eastern Jazz project is an ensemble comprised of musicians in the Portland area from both the Jazz and Middle Eastern music scenes. The goal of this Ensemble is to successfully combined the core elements of jazz and middle-eastern classical and folk music. Together we experiment with the different harmonic rhythmic and improvisational elements of both genres in order to create a completely new sound.
The Middle Eastern Jazz project Ensemble members are:

Dwayne Edwards, Bass
Eric laperna, Middle Eastern percussion
