I Love to Sing: The Rutha Harris Story
I Love to Sing The Rutha Harris Story is a phenomenal musical stage play about the life of the Original Freedom Singer, Ms. Rutha Mae Harris. Set in the 60s the Play tells the story of Ms. Harris decision to join the fight for civil rights and justice at the age of 21. It chronicles the journey Ms. Harris took as she and the other Freedom Singers sang their way across the United States spreading encouragement and inspiration all the way to the front steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC for the March on Washington.
