COUNTRY LEGEND LEE GREENWOOD TO PERFORM AT ELIZABETHVILLE BICENTENNIAL
The Elizabethville community will celebrate its Bicentennial August 12th - 19th.
Without a doubt, 2017 is going to be a year to remember. Many festivities filled with the towns rich history and treasured memories have been planned. We extend an open invitation to our entire community to join us for this wonderful celebration
On Saturday August 19th, 2017, the Grand Finale day, a parade dedicated to the Bicentennial Celebration will kick events off at 12:00 Noon. The parade will be a tribute to 200 years of history and include 6 categories, marching bands, floats, antique cars, trucks and more!
The evening will conclude when Country recording artist Lee Greenwood, best known for his song God Bless the USA, will take the stage in Elizabethville Veterans Memorial Park. The song, God Bless the USA has been voted the most recognizable patriotic song in America, and a fitting song for the towns 200th birthday celebration.
Opening act for Lee Greenwood will be The Badlees featuring Brett Alexander and Friends.
Fireworks following the concert will bring the days celebration to a conclusion.
