The Best Stand-Up Comics of the 3-Night Festival

In its 3rd year, the annual Saugeen Shores Comedy Festival continues to bring Canada's best, seasoned and most exciting new comedians to Saugeen Shores while giving back to the community.
On the festival's final night a lineup of professional comedians takes the stage at the Old Town Hall Theatre in beautiful Southampton Ontario with 20% of online sales going to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation.
KEITH PEDRO
Straight off his second appearance at the CBC Ha!ifax Comedy Festival, this fast talking Filipino has been setting the Canadian Comedy scene afire. From his acclaimed sets on CBC & SiriusXM Satellite radio, to torching stages at several different festivals throughout North America Keith only stops working when daddy duty calls. Last year Pedro was featured on Kevin Hart's new LOL network and was one of Just for Laughs' Homegrown Performers. He's been seen on MTV, FuseTV & MuchMusic's Video On Trial as well. Skip the gym on Saturday, when Keith's on stage, your abs will get a massive workout!
LIANNE MAULADIN
The very Canadian, Lianne Mauladin is known for her comfortable, straight shooting, style of comedy and unique perspective on life. Lianne performs regularly at comedy clubs in Canada, and in the USA.
She has performed live on ABC's "The View" and her comedy has been recorded and or televised on ABC, Bite TV, iChannel, Sirius XM Radio, CBCs LOL and Rogers TV.
Her festival appearances include, the Hubcap Comedy Festival in Moncton NB, the Frigid Festival in NYC, the Out of Bounds Festival in Austin, Texas, the Women in Comedy Festival in Boston, the Durham Region Comedy Festival in Oshawa, Ont., NXNE in Toronto, Saugeen Shores Comedy Festival and the SheDot Comedy Festival in Toronto.
Mauladin hosts and produces the Mary-Janes of Comedy Show, the longest running all female stand-up show in Toronto. She also headlines the "Mary-Janes of Comedy" road show that performs in clubs, halls and theatres around Ontario. Lianne has further developed her stand-up through classes and workshops at Second City, Boston's Improv Asylum and at the Comedy Bar in Toronto.
She also creates "Welcome to Bloordale" a weekly online comic strip that has also been picked up by a Toronto newspaper.
RON VAUDRY
Born in Montreal, the cynical and hard-hitting Ron Vaudry caught the stand-up bug after appearing on stage in a small club in the his home town in 1979, performing 12 sets over 12 hours for the Jerry Lewis Joke-a-thon fundraiser.
He became a regular on the Canadian comedy scene and has appeared in numerous television shows including the CBC's Comics! and The Late Show with Arsenio Hall.
He now gigs internationally, having appeared at many of the world's leading comedy festivals.
PAUL THOMPSON
Fresh off his first appearance at Just for Laughs in Montreal, Paul Thompson brings his high energy and brutal honesty to Saugeen Shores Comedy Festival for the third time.
Since a young age Paul Thompson has been passionate about entertainment and he has fuelled this passion in many areas of the industry. He began his career by acting in local plays and weekly comedy sketches for his classroom and at 11-years-old Paul went on to win a city wide public speaking contest. Also at that young age, was already creating buzz as a freestyle
rapper, battling and performing every other
week at local YMCA dances.
In his first year of high school he was hosting weekly events and practicing his comedic timing on stage before an audience. Getting those early laughs set him on to his comedic path, now Paul packs a lifetime of knowledge into a young man's mind and his heartfelt honesty is delightful to obeserve.
