A sparkling sampler of songs from the ragtime era including enduring hits of the day, novelty songs, and works from stage luminaries with selections from Scott Joplin's opera Treemonisha, and songs from the 1919 Broadway hit Irene.
A musical view into Relationships, Entertainment Icons, Technology, and the influence of Classic and Popular Culture. Composers include Joplin, Tierney, Friml, Romberg, Wenrich, Edwards, W.C. Handy and others.
Special guest performers from the international ragtime community including Sean Sharp and Larisa Migachyov join Free Range Opera's favorite performers in a concert cabaret with piano and instrumental accompaniment.
