Cooking with the Chorale 6: A culinary cruise around the world
The chefs of the Publix Apron's cooking school demonstrate the preparation of a four course meal and then each course is served in turn and paired with wine selected to compliment each dish. This year's edition is "A Culinary Cruise around the World" and will feature an international menu inspired by the Chorale's spring concert "Global Voices."
1st Course: Poisson Cru (a Polynesian/Maori dish of tuna marinated in coconut milk)
2nd Course: Vetkeok (A South African dish of fried bread and beef with sweet potatoes)
Main Course: Salmon with Colcannon (Salmon cooked in herbed butter paired with the traditional Irish dish of mashed potatoes and kale)
Dessert Course: Kulfi with Mango (an ice cream-like dessert from India)
Meals made without gluten are available with advance request.
As a special bonus, we will also announce our 2017-18 concert season at this event.
Tickets are $70 per person or $130 per couple.
Dinner begins at 6:30pm and tickets must be purchased in advance.
