Seattle PNS-AIHA May Meeting: Using Legionella Test Results to Make Better Water Management Decisions with Matt Freije
Description: Legionella test results can provide useful data for managing plumbing systems and validating a water management plan--but only if the data is reliable and interpreted correctly. Matt Freije (http://hcinfo.com/about/founder/) will discuss Legionella guidelines and standards, explain the proper place for water sampling in validating a water management program per ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 188-2015, and then outline key criteria for accurately interpreting Legionella test results. By reviewing case studies for various building types, he will illustrate common mistakes and key factors for success in planning sampling programs and evaluating test results, and then open the discussion for Q & A.
Cost:$20/person, Buffet from Caravan Kebab.
