12th Annual ATLANTA ARAB FESTIVAL
Alif Institute is pleased to announce the 12th annual Atlanta Arab Festival on April 22 and 23, 2017. Experience the best of Arab cultures with food, music, art and more a great event for kids and adults! The 2016 festival was attended by over 5,000 people and is expected to draw even more this year.
Everyone is welcome to attend the Atlanta Arab Festival at Alif Institute (3288 Marjan Drive, Atlanta, 30340).
Festival hours: Saturday, April 22: 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM (New extended hours! Special performances!) Sunday, April 23: 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Admission fee: $5 per person, children under 12 years old are FREE!
Highlights include: NEW in 2017: Extended hours and special evening performances on April 22, new performers and activities for kids and adults! Delicious food from several prominent local Arab restaurants. Great shopping at the Souk: books, arts and crafts, paintings, groceries, rugs, jewelry, traditional home accessories, traditional clothes and more! Games for all ages: amusing carnival style games and activities for young ones, challenging games for youth, backgammon and barjees for all ages! Arts & Crafts: Create your own arts and crafts; have a henna design done or have your face painted; get your name written in beautiful Arabic calligraphy. Cultural, folk art, fine art, and educational exhibits: learn about interesting facts that relate to the Arab culture and to Arab Americans Performances: enjoy a beautiful array of folk dances, singing, storytelling, traditional fashion shows, and great music!
