The Future was Then: La Jetée (1962) with DMFX, Ladybeast and Sarah Waggener
Told in stills, the story of time-travel experiments and uncertain memories in post WWIII Paris is considered one of the most influential films in science-fiction film canon. DMFX will perform to an English subtitled version. Approximately 30 minutes. Following is the debut of Eclipsed, a collaboration by DMFX and local aerialist performers Ladybeast and Sarah Waggener in a contemporary circus piece live scored by DMFX with projections by Carlos Grasso. The evening is rounded out by live electronics, science-fiction soundtracks and time-lapse films by DJ DMFX (Carlos Grasso).
