World Music+ Dance students from the Ruth Asawa School of the Arts present their annual Takeover performance, featuring Japanese Taiko Drumming, Afro-Brazilian, Afro-Cuban & West African Drumming & Dance, Bhangra & Bollywood Dance,Tahitian X Taiko Crossover, Mariachi Band, and the debut of the Middle Eastern Music Ensemble. Plus Senior student compositions!
As always, this should be an electrifying, high-energy event!
The kids Bollywood dance performance will include students from more than 8 different schools!
Friday's performance will feature students from Bessie Carmichael Elementary School and Paul Revere Middle School.
