UNearthed--Savoring Spring!
Slow Food Tennessee Valley is excited to announce that we will be hosting "UNearthed--Savoring Spring!", a dinner celebrating the amazing flavors the young season has to offer, on Saturday, April 22nd, from 6:30-10:00 pm.
Two accomplished local chefs, Joey Edwards and Laurence Faber, will use their talents to produce an amazing 5-course meal that will include wine pairings for each course. The chefs will focus on presenting the diner with an unparalleled experience using unearthed ingredients sourced from the forest, local farms, and fields. Wild Love Bakehouse has graciously offered the use of their beautiful space for the evening, which will take place on their patio under the stars (weather permitting).
Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed with a signature cocktail and specialty snacks prepared by the chefs. After the cocktail, the chefs will present each course, explaining their inspiration for each dish. The wine pairings will be presented by the evening's sommelier, Meg Edwards. The dinner will conclude with a dessert course, accompanied by wine and coffee provided by our friends at Wild Love. The evening is sure to be one of discovering new flavors, meeting new friends, and enjoying an unforgettable meal in a beautiful setting.
We are also excited to announce a very special opportunity; for adventurous foodies, we will be auctioning off four special Chefs' Table tickets! In addition to all of the courses and wine pairings described above, Chefs' Table ticket holders will actually be seated in the kitchen with the chefs. They will partake in a few special courses and be front & center for all the action of the evening. Watch our social media for details on how to bid for the Chefs' Table.
We have a limited number of tickets for this event so please don't delay in purchasing yours.
