Dirty Looks: Unsavory Oral Lesions and Where to Find Them: Dr. Vikki Noonan, DMD, DMSc
This course will emphasize the varied appearances of oral precancerous lesions and oral cancer, provide updates on human papilloma virus and the relationship to oral lesions, and discuss oral ulcerative lesions with an emphasis on clinical features as well as indications for biopsy as well as a contemporary update on management strategies.

Speaker Bio: Vikki Noonan, DMD, DMSc, is Associate Professor and Director of Clinical Oral Pathology in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine and is an Associate Pathologist at StrataDx. She is a Fellow in the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology. Dr. Noonan completed her dental training at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and earned her Doctorate of Medical Sciences in Oral Biology and Certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology from the Harvard University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Noonan has published extensively in the peer-reviewed literature and serves as a reviewer for several professional journals. Her clinical interests include the diagnosis and management of oral mucosal diseases and diseases of the jaws.
